Avec cet album, Ufo prouve, enfin, qu’il pouvait sortir un
grand disque sans le charismatique Michael Shenker.
TheWild Willing & The Innocent est assurément le meilleur
album du groupe post Strangers in The Night et tout simplment l’un
des meileurs albums de toute la discographie.
On retrouve toujours cette patte « Ufo-ienne » avec
ces riffs reconnaissables ("Chains Chains", "Long
Gone", "Making Moves" , "Couldn’t Get It
Right" auxquels viennent s’ajouter des touches FM très
agréables. La sublime ballade "Profession Of Violence"
ponctuée par un magnifique solo de Paul Chapman dans un style
très « Shenkerien » clôture ce disque superbe
hélas trop court (8 titres).
Un Must du rock mélodique. Dare 2003
