J'avais
découvert Gamma Ray avec les excellents "Land of the
Free" et "Heading for Tomorrow", j'attendais donc
beaucoup de ce "Sigh no More".
Si les premières écoutes ont été très
décevantes, autant le dire tout de suite, il s'agit là
d'un très bon album. Passée la
surprise d'un son plutôt sec et d'un ton plutôt sérieux
loin du happy metal de HFT, on saura apprécier les bombes
que sont "Changes", "Rich and Famous", "As
Time goes by" (quelle voix ce Scheepers quand même !),
"One with the World", ou encore "Dream Healer"
et "The Spirit" qui terminent superbement l'album.
SNM dévoile une nouvelle facette de Gamma Ray et Kai Hansen
prouve avec brio que son style ne se cantonne pas à du
Helloween-bis.
