Après
un somptueux "Twilight of the gods" , Bathory revient
avec ce "Requiem" et ce dans un style radicalement différent.
Fini les belles mélodies, fini les beaux titres vikings
et épiques et place au thrash/death brut de décoffrage.
Autant le dire tout suite c'est vraiment mauvais. Les riffs sont
répétitifs, la production est immonde (le son de
batterie est à mourir de rire), Quorthon chante comme un
pied bref un album a éviter. On est loin des débuts
