HAREM SCAREM

A studio album and a live album in 2002, an unreleased tracks album and 'Higher' in 2003, you've got a pretty busy schedule, right?
Pete Lesperance: Yea we keep pretty busy.
Scarem is only a part of what we do, we're constantly working on other projects as well..

How were perceived the last albums, were the sales good?
Times are tough for our kind of music but the fans seemed to be happy with the last record and we hope they like this one even more.

How is Harem Scarem considered in the different continents, are the sales bigger in Japan, Europe or in the US?
Sales seem to be strongest in Japan then europe.
As of yet we are not released in the U.S.

Harry, you feature on Gary Hughes' rock opera 'Once & Future King'. How did you come to work on this album? Was it a good experience? What do you think of this kind of project?
This is Pete so I'm not sure how to answer that.

Harry released few times ago a solo album. Do the other members of Harem Scarem have side projects?
I'm working on a solo record as we speak and so is Creighton.

A tout is certainly going to be put on after the release of the album, are there any chances to see you guys in France?
We hope so.
We have never toured France...I think now would be a good time to start
.

What would you say to the people who are going to read this interview in order to buy your album?
run ....don't walk.

One last word for the people who are gong to read this interview on the hardrock80 site and for the French fans in general
