What did you do since 2003 and the release of 'Ocean's Heart'?
We’ve written a lot of songs and trained, trained and once again trained...

Why one of your guitarist left the band?
Esa didn’t have enough time for the band and he had to concentrate on his studies.

Why did you choose the name 'Difference' as the title for your album?
It sounded cool and it think that it’s a little bit different album than the previous ones.

How was your relation with Timo Tolki for this album?
Timo decided which songs were recorded and he was suppose to produce the Album but unfortunately he git ill during recordings and he had to call it a quit.



It's your 3d album released on Spinefarm. Don't you want to change your label?
If things go well with Spinefarm, there’s no reason to change to any other label.

There are 3 ballads on 'Difference'. It's rather rare to find as much ballads on a power metal album. Why did you choose to include them?
As i wrote earlier, Timo Tolkki choose the songs. There was about ten fast ones left behind.

Is France a country where the Dreamtale's albums are well received?
I really don’t know, we haven’t got any specific numbers, but i hope so! We get some e-mails from our French fans, so there must be some kind of sales... ;-)

What are the countries where you are the most successful in terms of sales?
Japan is definately the one, and i think Germany is second in sales.

Do you know how many of your previous albums have been sold?
I haven’t seen the latest figures but i think they’ve sold ok.

Do you plan on touring for 'Difference'?
Maybe next fall, and maybe some gigs in the summer but not any “big tour”

For which band would you like to open?
Helloween, Edguy od Stratovarius.

What are your thoughts on the following Finnish bands:
Stratovarius: Pioneers and a beacon-light to many finnish bands.
Sonata Arctica: A great band and catchy songs.
Nightwish: Bigger than big!
Hanoi Rocks: Legends, true rockstars!
