Hi! How are you doin'?
Doing pretty well....alot is happening, gettin ready for videos, tv-shows and the fall tour...

Your last album 'Scare Yourself' was released in May. Could you tell us about it?
It´s a very energyfilled album...very straight rock´n´roll, the best album to play live ever!!

You got back to a more rocking sound with this disc. Why did you decide to do a heavy album this time?
We needed to put ourselves totally into it ......a lot of stuff needed to be "processed"......fast and loud music has always been a great way out !

Your voice is still on top! It's recognizable among thousands. Do you practice a lot?
We´re in the rehearsel space as much as needed, but the more live shows the better the voice..

You played in Clubs in June, and did Roskilde in July. What do you prefer, clubs or big arenas?
The clubs was a lovely experience....less pressure more music, but playin arenas is the ultimate.

This album has been release only in Scandinavia right now. Do you know if it's gonna be released in other countries?
Germany is next, and then the rest of europe...after christmas...

Do you plan to tour outside Denmark for this album?
Yup .....wait and see......

Do you sometimes feel that it would be cool to release your albums internationally like few years ago?
Of course ....always our goal.

With such good albums as 'Soft Dogs' and 'Scare Yourself', why your record company does not distribute your music in more countries?
We´re a danish band and that´s unfortunate he he he.

One of the gimmicks of DAD is Stig's disguise. How does he choose >the theme of his disguises?
No planning....pure instinct...

You released some non-album tracks on i-tunes. What is your opinion of the Internet? Do you think that downloaded music will replace actual discs?
Yes...discs are fragile and not very practical....

It seems that you have a very strong fan base, but you never had an official fan club. Why is that?
www.d-a-d.com is the club....

On the previous album, there is a song called 'Un Frappe Sur La Tête'. Where did this idea of a French title come from? What does this song mean?
Sounded great, and a kick in the head is what everyone needs once in a while.....

Do you listen to some current bands?
Oh yeah...the punk/disco bands of brittain are very funny, green day and s.o.a.d. likewise...

Do you like Scandinavian rock bands like Backyard Babies, Hardcore Superstar, Private Line? What do you think of current Scandinavian rock?
Private line are beginning to become my new finnish favorites...bb are good friends of ours and are touring the states right now lucky bastards...scandinavian action rock is very good at the moment...

You always wrote songs in English. Did you ever think of recording a song in Danish?
Nope

Are you still in touch with Peter Jensen? Is he still doing music?
Nope and nope

Laust Sonne, your 'new' drummer, released two albums with his own band Dear. Did you listen to them? What do you think of these albums?
I always listen to dears new stuff when its coming out....i think its very good.

You wrote songs for a movie called 'The Greatest Heroes' (it has been released in France few years ago). Do you think you will take part in another soundtrack? Any plans?
Making soundtracks and small snippets of music is easy and evolving at the same time......bring'em on.

What memories do you have from the late 80's-early 90's?
A lotta clubbing, alotta drinks alotta touring....alotta ROCK!!

Apart from the big hits as 'Sleeping My day Away' or 'Bad Craziness', do you sometimes play old songs live? Do you still like these songs, like 'Siamese Twins', or 'ZCMI'?
We play them sometimes but mostly at soundcheks......

One last words for the French fans:
Mon dieu it´s d a d !!!!

Thank you very much for answering these questions, mange tak!....
Merci yourself jp
